This workshop is curated for couples connection.

Touch is a primary sense for humans – it's how we gather information and form connections. It is something we associate with emotional closeness, and we associate the absence of it with emotional distance.

If you have an interest in learning how to massage your partner with comfort and ease, and would like a connected afternoon with your loved one– this workshop is for you.

There will be no interruptions from our usual hectic schedules, instead you will be part of an intimate, nourishing mini retreat with your partner .

We have a network of dedicated nerve fibers in our skin that detect and emotionally respond to the touch of another person — affirming our relationships, our social connections and even our sense of self.

On this Couples workshop we learn classic Swedish massage techniques to support and enhance our relationship through touch in a safe environment. You will have a wonderful skill base to take home and practice with your partner in the comfort of your own home

About the experience

It will be a hands-on experience for most of the afternoon, where you will be practicing with your partner.

A Couples massage training book is provided on the day.

Visual -post training access to a 1 hr training film for refreshing our massage strokes and sequences.

What you will learn:

-We will learn how to use our posture and body weight to deliver the best possible massage without hurting our bodies.

-A complete professional back massage sequence.

-Nourishing foot massage.

-Neck & Face massage sequence.

Gay is a qualified and experienced remedial massage instructor with over 30 years experience as a massage consultant. Gay will offer guidance to help you learn the correct way to massage your partner’s body using Swedish massage techniques.

We will be working in a friendly, safe and nurturing environment at Bodyriches wellness center. An oasis of calm and beauty.

Afternoon tea will be provided in our break -a moment to relax and connect in our Bodyriches center gardens and day beds.

There will be a maximum of 8 couples on this retreat

Terms and Conditions

Tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable, but you are more than welcome to send a friend/or couple in your place if you cannot attend. Postponements due to COVID-19 or instructor illness are decided by Bodyriches and will be re-accommodated, not refunded. You can find more details in our Terms and conditions
