Dog Massage Workshop - Perth May 5th

About the experience

YES ! You are bringing your dog in for this massage workshop. Please make sure your pet has had their basic needs met - food, exercise, playtime, before attending the workshop

Please bring your dogs bed into the workshop space with you. We will be sitting on the floor with our pets to learn our massage techniques. Your dog must be on a led at all times.

What you will learn:

Swedish massage techniques to use with your dog

An introduction to using trigger points for injury, aches and pain with your dog

Energy holds, and placements of hands, to support anxiety and stress in our canine loved ones.

You will be the only person massaging your dog in this workshop . Gay will be facilitating from the front of the room with her dog ,all of the massage techniques,. There will be a comprehensive manual to take home with all the techniques and sequences for review post the course.

Gay is a qualified and experienced remedial massage instructor with over 30 years experience as a massage consultant.

Gay will offer you guidance throughout the workshop with visual ,audio and hands on leaning techniques toh elp you learn the correct way to massage your dog.

We will be working in a friendly, safe and nurturing environment at Bodyriches wellness center. An oasis of calm and beauty.

Afternoon tea will be provided in our break -a moment to relax and connect in our Bodyriches center gardens and day beds, with other owners and dogs

There will be a maximum of 6 dogs on this workshop, with a lot of personal space around each dog bed.

Post registering for this workshop-you will be contacted to complete a short questionnaire form before attending the Dog massage course at Body Riches.

Our facilitator post the questionnaire, will decide if your dog will be suitable for this social workshop. Please dont be offended if you are declined, it is important all dogs attending are socialized and and on are leads at all times. Unfortunately if your dog is not social and friendly with other dogs they will not be able to attend We invite you to call Gay Riches to discuss any questions or queries in regard to attending this workshop

What to bring

• Loose comfortable clothing

• 1 dog bed and a pillow for your self if you choose -to sit next to your dog on the floor

Terms and Conditions

Tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable, but you are more than welcome to send a friend/or couple in your place if you cannot attend. Postponements due to COVID-19 or instructor illness are decided by Bodyriches and will be re-accommodated, not refunded. You can find more details in our Terms and conditions
